"A hundred thousand welcomes" to my website, Andy Hall Photography, which features a selection of my work including images from 'A Sense of Belonging to Scotland'.
Through my photography, I explore the relationship between the landscapes of Scotland and its people. To native and adopted Scots and also to friends of Scotland, many of whom are far from home, there is often an indefinable feeling of longing for and belonging to a favourite place in Scotland.
My photography is a key to unlock a casket of memories of these special places whether they be from childhood, an unforgettable visit or simply a moment of beauty, distilled and frozen in time.

The Trybe
The trybe successfully combine visual excitement with a fast and furious, full scale, aural assault, which takes no prisoners, they only have one volume setting - loud! Big drums, big bodhrans and piping at a breakneck speed c ome together to create a unique soundwhich defies classification - Heavy McMetal, anyone? Jigs reels and marches as you’ve never heard them before.
To quote one of their T-shirts slogans, on the front “I saw the Trybe,” on the back “and survived......”

Burns Country
Everything you wanted to know about Robert Burns, Scotland's national bard (and lots more besides).
World Federation
The Robert Burns World Federation has a membership of clubs in all corners of the globe, and individual members many of whom are not within a club framework but want to follow Burns as a personal interest. This World Burns Club site is here for all our members, and for anyone else who seeks information on Robert Burns, and the people, Clubs and societies who pursue an interest in his life, work and philosophy.
Stonehaven
Visit Stonehaven, the main county town of Kincardinesire and the Mearns, (Due to Local Government changes, Stonehaven now lies within Aberdeenshire).
Situated by the sea, 15 mile south of Aberdeen, Stonehaven is fast becoming one of Scotland's most popular coastal towns and plays an important role in attracting visitors to the Aberdeen City and Shire region of Scotland.
Originally a fishing village built around the High Street, Stonehaven has grown to a population of around 11,000
The sense of history, with the impressive ruined fortress of Dunnottar Castle, the awe inspiring views of the sea and harbour, the friendliness of the local people, combine to make Stonehaven special and a must visit town when touring the North East of Scotland.

Iain McFadden , club committee member,
regularly plays and pipes in the haggis at the Fatherland Burns suppers. He plays with the Trybe and Burns songs are often featured in their repetoire.
